Creative thinking

Lostine resident and brilliant wood artist Steve Arment joined us at our March City Council meeting, Steve asked for the opinion of the Council and our residence on the matter of him donating his talents to build the City a new welcome sign. He will be working on some drawings to bring in front of the residence of Lostine so that every one will have a chance to be part in the planning.  We are excited to see what Steve comes up with.

Big Changes

The new year has brought on big changes for the City of Lostine After decades of loyal service Mayor Krag Norton stepped down and welcomed Mayor Dusty Tippet. Dusty took over as of the first of the year and has big plans for our little City.  Along with the change of Mayor our long time City Recorder Jodi Burgess has decided to also move on and Toni Clary will be trying to fill her shoes.  The City of Lostine wants to thank Krag and Jodi for their many years of hard work and dedication, they will be missed.
